Who we are

Drone Port is the careers and screening portal of DP Drone Port, an agricultural drone services network in Tamil Nadu, India. Write to support@drone-port.in about anything on this page.

What this application is for

Applying for a job with us, sitting the online screening test, and following your application through to a decision. Our staff use the same portal to publish openings and manage hiring. It does nothing else.

Signing in with Google

You may sign in with a Google account. We ask Google for two things only: your basic profile and your email address. We use them to confirm it is you when you return, and to fill your name and email in so you do not type them twice.

We do not read your email, contacts, files or calendar, and we never post anything on your behalf. We do not request permission to do any of those things. You can disconnect us at any time from your Google account’s permissions page, and you can use a mobile number instead of Google if you prefer.

What we collect, and why

• Name, mobile number and email — to identify your application and call you about it.
• Date of birth — to confirm you are eighteen or over. If you are not, the application is refused and nothing is stored.
• Gender, district and qualification — to place you near your home and to report on who applies.
• Test answers and outcome — to decide the application. You are told whether you cleared; a score is never shown to you.
• Test-session evidence — while the test runs we count tab switches and copying, and if you allow the camera we take occasional snapshots, to keep the test fair. No face template is ever computed and no image is stored on your device. You may refuse the camera and still take the test.

How long we keep it

If you are not selected, your details are deleted after 90 days. If you join us they become part of your employment record. You may ask us to delete them sooner.

Who else sees it

Our own hiring staff, and only the parts their role allows — a counsellor arranging your interview cannot see your test score. We use a database provider to host the system and a messaging provider to send WhatsApp and email updates about your application. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Write to support@drone-port.in. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
